How risky is your sewer line?
A planning score from common risk factors, not a measurement. Only a camera shows the real condition of the pipe.

Bigger projects
Commonly published planning ranges for typical homes, not quotes. Real prices depend on access, depth, pipe material, permits and what the camera shows. Each group of bars has its own scale.
Six things that age a sewer line.
Older pipe
Clay, cast iron and fiber pipe from past decades fail in ways modern plastic does not.
Joints
Every joint in clay or cast iron is a place roots and leaks can start.
Big trees
Mature oaks, maples and willows send roots toward any weeping joint.
Grease and scale
Buildup narrows the pipe until a small flow stops it.
Settling
Shifting ground leaves low spots that hold water and solids.
Heavy loads
Driveways, vehicles and construction can crush shallow pipe.

What is a sewer camera inspection?
A waterproof camera on a flexible cable travels through the pipe and shows roots, cracks, low spots, scale and breaks on a live screen, with distances and a recording. Our Sewer Cam shows how it works, and a real inspection shows your own line.
Do tree roots really get into sewer lines?
Yes. Roots follow moisture into tiny gaps at joints in older clay and cast iron pipe, then thicken into a mat that catches paper and grease. Cutting clears them, and lining or repair seals the joint so they cannot return as fast.
Do I need to dig up my yard to fix a sewer line?
Not always. Many repairs use a small access pit or a trenchless liner, and pipe bursting replaces a line from two pits. Our Dig or No-Dig picker shows which methods usually fit, and a camera and locator decide your real answer.
