Know where the pipe runs before anyone digs.
A sonde on the camera head and a locator at the surface mark the path and depth of your sewer line, so repairs, additions and landscaping never guess.
- Equipment: Camera sonde and surface locator
- Typical visit: One to two hours
- You get: Marks on the ground, photos and a simple sketch

What it is, and why it matters.
Nobody remembers where the sewer line goes. It was buried decades ago, the plans are missing and the cleanout may be on the wrong side of the house. Digging in the wrong spot costs money, ruins landscaping and sometimes hits the line that was supposed to be saved.
We send a camera with a transmitting sonde through the pipe and follow its signal on the surface with a locator. The locator reads the position and the depth, and we mark the path on your lawn with paint or flags and photograph it. A Nashville homeowner planning a deck, a pool or a fence gets a simple map of what lies underneath.

Pipe Locating and Mapping: common questions
Can you find a pipe that has no cleanout?
Often yes, from a fixture or a vent opening. If there is no safe way into the line, we explain the options, which may include installing a cleanout.
Does locating mark other utilities too?
No. Our locating covers the sewer line only. Before any digging, call your state one-call service so gas, electric, water and communications lines are marked by their owners.
How do I get a price for pipe locating and mapping?
Fill in the form or call or text 615-209-7643. We confirm what is involved and send a written price, and most properties get a free estimate visit.
Ready to talk about pipe locating and mapping?
A short visit, a camera when it helps and a written price. A real person calls back, usually the same day.
